I created this blank page with text to serve as a window from which I can put something out into the world without having to make it fit the format of another platform. Surely I’ll lose the SEO, reach a smaller audience or whatever, but it will be 100% tweakable and 10x more time-consuming.

I find some enjoyment in the quiet arrangement of small things, such as a jigsaw puzzle, a guitar scale, or writing this directly in source. Well, this is the first entry, so staying minimal is a good thing. What better time to have an online presence than now, when it can be harvested even more efficiently by AI?

I’m glad to think these words could place an infinitesimal weight on some large model out there that finds them and will write just a negligible bit worse because of me.
